It was getting dark as Mick joined the others in the Lion Group HQ. Everyone was gearing-up in their all-black uniforms, usually reserved for undercover operations, which he supposed this was going to be. The GC called over to Mick telling him to get ready for the full mission briefing in 10 minutes.

Mick was sitting on a wall in Southwark overlooking the river Thames. He enjoyed watching the boats sailing by, some carried trade goods, others were transport ferries taking commuters up and down the river and others were just for leisure, but all of them were busy and had a purpose.

Jax helped the old man to his feet and then sat him down on the bench.
“Are you ok?” Jax asked, worried. The old man had taken a heavy knock and a bad fall.
As he spoke, the old man looked at Jax out of breath and visibly weak, “No one has any time anymore, rushing around all over the place. What could be so important?”

“Hanson, get over here!”
“Yes, sir!” Hanson half-heartedly replied, as he begrudgingly walked over to Group Captain Richards. Mick hadn’t liked Richards from the start. Had he known how the GC ran Lion Group he would never have signed up for the police force. Being called directly over was a bad sign. He was worried. Not about something he may have done, but about what he may be asked to do.
